格列納普城堡酒店(Glenapp Castle)

From the start to finish - what an experience - each and everyone at the castle were so lovely. Everyone so friendly. I can highly recommend anyone to go and have timeout here. We chose the 7 course starter menu which was great - trying food if not normally do.

Wir verbrachten auf Grund unserer Schottland-Rundreise leider nur eine Nacht im Glenapp-Castle, hätten es aber noch viel länger ausgehalten. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, die Einrichtung und der wunderschöne Garten. Vor allem das Gewächshaus „The Azalea“ in dem man wohl auch an manchen Tagen Abendessen kann. Unter Tags bietet es die Möglichkeit im warmen zu sitzen, den wunderbaren Duft von exotischen Pflanzen in der Nasen und eine runde Schach zu spielen, oder einfach ein Buch zu lesen. Sehr gemütlich! Das Schlossdinner mit Tasting Menu war hervorragend! Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss und Gartenblick war einfach riesig. Ich würde aber nächstes Mal eher ein Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerken bevorzugen, in der Hoffnung dass es dort etwas heller wäre.

On arriving on a lovely sunny day, we entered the castle to be greeted by Hazel who showed us to our room which was the Earl Of Inchcape Suite, which i can only discribe as jaw dropping. We walked round the beautiful gardens and grounds, which were so relaxing and peaceful. The dinner that evening was superb with the attention to detail and service that could not be faulted, as was breakfast the next morning. As we left and drove off down the drive, we felt like a fairytale had ended. Thank you so much Glenapp Castle.

It’s a magical place, from the moment you press the buzzer at the gate to announce your arrival, then wait for the electric gates to slowly welcome you to the beautiful drive through the grounds to the castle at the top of the hill, where staff are waiting at the entrance to take your bags and park your car. Service and attention to every detail are above and beyond. Beautiful floral arrangements meet you in every room. The food is outstanding, and cocktails And canapés before dinner are exquisite. We have stayed in many hotels throughout the world , and Glenapp is right on the top of our list

Stunning hotel in a stunning setting. Attention to detail amazing. Staff were superb from arrival,restaurant service, housekeeping and departure. Food was excellent. A lot of activities were available such as archery and bee keeping to name only two!!

We had a very flat day yesterday as we returned to "normal life" after the most spectacular 3 night stay at Glenapp Castle. We arranged a surprise 40th birthday treat for our daughter and from the moment we arrived we were completely spoilt. The Castle itself is beautiful and the grounds are utterly superb especially with all the rhododendrons and azaleas at their best. Our rooms overlooking Ailsa Craig were spacious and beautiful with fresh flowers, period furniture and spacious bathrooms. The food was delicious particularly, the 7 course tasting menu. Everything was beautifully presented and each course packed with flavour. Everyone participated in an activity over the weekend from fly fishing, a picnic on Ailsa Craig, archery and beekeeping along with a massage! The staff went the extra mile to organise everything and we really appreciated it. The place is not stuffy and all the staff were lovely. We could feel they all wanted us to have the best experience. Of special note in the restaurant; Crystal and Colyna were wonderful and Jen, the sommelier, knowledgable and full of enthusiasm made choosing wine fun. THANK YOU ALL for helping us have the most wonderful, memorable stay.

The service at the castle is unquestionably the best we have experienced anywhere. All the staff were very attentive, but in a quiet manner. The cuisine was excellent. The chef's amuse bouche were wonderful! Our view of Ailsa Craig from the dining room was perfect. The rooms were spacious, plush and extremely comfortable. The baths were modern and spotless. The castle gardens were amazing and we enjoyed just strolling through them. We will be back. From check-in to check-out our stay could not have been better.
